Hans Christian Andersen

Originally from Denmark, Hans Christian Andersen (1805-1875) is the author of more than 150 children's stories. His stories are part of the current of Romanticism, a literary movement prevailing in the 19th century that sought to exalt the feelings and freedom of the individual. Andersen's stories offer an alternative to introspection and an invitation to reflect on our actions and their consequences.

The brothers Grimm

Jacob (1785-1863) and Wilhelm (1786-1859) Grimm, originally from Hanau (present-day Germany), were in charge of rescuing the famous stories told among families, to write them down, publish them, and offer the world stories that have marked many generations. Along the history.

The first collection of stories they made was entitled Children's and home stories (1812-1822). Charles Perrault

Charles Perrault (France, 1628-1793) is the author of the world's most famous fairy tales and princesses. Like the Brothers Grimm, Perrault rescued the stories of yesteryear, to which he added morals that would help young readers to follow the moral values suggested in the tales. The book Tales of the Past (1697), which was also known as Tales of Mother Goose due to the image on the cover, was the one with which he offered the world the stories of Sleeping Beauty, Little Red Riding Hood, Bluebeard, among other stories.
